How to find a missing earring
One of the worst part of owning earrings, especially stud earrings is losing one and trying to find it. With its size, and a lot of possible places where it fell not knowing the exact moment when one lost it, it can be a real pain! However, a lot of people experience this and I am pretty sure the statistics will be surprising if only a survey will be conducted. Thanks to those who experienced being in this situation, there are some tips shared about finding a missing earring.
- Rewind. Think about the last time you remember being sure that your earring is still in its place. Some people retrace their steps of it was just a few minutes ago.
- Ask around. Ask your friends or people who you were with if they remembered or noticed your earring. If you happen to drop it while in an event where a lot of photos are taken, try to check the photos and hope to identify or at least estimate the time when you lost it.
- Make a list. List down possible places where you lost your earrings.
- Relax. Do not hurry and do not pressure yourself. This will blur your rational thinking and you will easily get impatient.
- Get some help. Two heads are better than one. Ask for a friend's help.
- Look around. When you're done with your list of possible places where you dropped your earrings, then, it's time to look everywhere even if it means having to turn the house upside down.
- Clean. I always find treasures when I clean my room. And, a lot more precious surprises when I clean the house. Who knows? You may find your stud earring and a lot of other things that you are not even aware that you lost too!
- Refresh. When you're too tired and stressed out from looking, take a break.
Good luck in finding your earrings!
